Advanced Recovery is designed to take recovery beyond foundational practices and support deeper physiological restoration. These modalities use controlled environments and specialized technology to help the body reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and enhance tissue recovery following intense training, physical stress, or injury.
Advanced Recovery builds upon the work done in the Recovery Zone, helping the body recover more efficiently, adapt to training demands, and maintain long-term performance and resilience.
Cold Plunge
Cold plunge therapy uses controlled cold exposure to help reduce inflammation and support recovery after physical stress. At Results, the cold plunge is maintained between 45–48°F, providing an effective temperature range to support circulation and post-training recovery.
Sessions are typically kept short and intentional, with recommended exposure of up to 5 minutes based on individual tolerance and recovery goals. Cold exposure causes blood vessels to constrict and then re-expand, supporting circulation and assisting the body’s natural recovery processes.
Benefits:
- Reduce inflammation and muscle soreness
- Support recovery after intense training
- Promote circulation and mental resilience
Sauna + Red Light Therapy
Sauna therapy uses controlled heat exposure to support circulation, muscle relaxation, and recovery. At Results, the sauna is typically maintained around 185°F, creating an environment that promotes increased blood flow and tissue relaxation following training or physical stress.
Our sauna is also equipped with red light therapy, which uses specific light wavelengths to support cellular function, tissue recovery, and overall healing. When combined, heat and red light work synergistically to support recovery, circulation, and relaxation at a deeper level.
Sessions are generally kept brief and intentional, with recommended use of 10–20 minutes depending on individual tolerance and recovery needs.
Benefits:
- Improve circulation and blood flow
- Reduce muscle stiffness and tension
- Support cellular recovery and tissue health
- Promote relaxation and overall recovery
Who Advanced Recovery Is For
Advanced Recovery may be beneficial for:
- Athletes managing high training loads or competition stress
- Active individuals looking to enhance recovery efficiency
- Those wanting to take recovery beyond foundational practices
- Individuals seeking deeper recovery support as part of a balanced routine
How Advanced Recovery Fits at Results
Advanced Recovery is part of Results’ progressive recovery model. By layering controlled recovery modalities onto foundational recovery practices, these services help support tissue repair, recovery efficiency, and adaptation to higher training demands.
Rather than replacing foundational recovery, Advanced Recovery enhances it — creating a more complete and intentional approach to how the body recovers, adapts, and performs over time.
Team Recovery Options
Results offers Team Recovery options for athletic teams looking to recover together in a guided, structured environment. These sessions are designed to support recovery, mobility, and readiness during periods of high training demand, competition, or seasonal transition.
Team Recovery may be scheduled as a dedicated recovery day or integrated alongside team training schedules. Sessions are supervised by Results staff to ensure proper use of recovery modalities and an intentional recovery flow.
Depending on team needs and scheduling, Team Recovery sessions may incorporate guided group mobility work along with access to Results’ advanced recovery amenities as part of a coordinated recovery plan.
